This is from the oral history project Story Corps. It tells the story of a since-passed WWII veteran which reminds us that war, even our most romanticized ones are ugly horrible things. Readers of my blog should never think that I take the idea of killing, even in self defense lightly. This video in particular really caused me to ponder on some of the deeper ideas behind revolution and social change in general.
