My home state of Vermont has been devastated by the worst floods since the 20s. This is a call to all radical Vermonters and friends of Vermont to help rebuild and most importantly help take care of your friends, family and neighbors. There is a lot of work to do and a lot of people who need support, having lost their homes or had their properties destroyed. Dirt roads and driveways will need to be rebuilt, roads cleared of debris, a thousand tasks to rebuild what has been lost.
The VT National Guard is deployed, fighting Washington's wars while their friends and neighbors desperately need their skills and resources; desperately need them to do what they should be doing. I thought situations like this are why we had the national guard?
Don't depend on the federal, state or local government for everything or anything; they have failed us before and will fail us again. We can help ourselves, we can help each other.
